The Florida Governor’s Council on Indian Affairs is a private, non-profit corporation which was incorporated under the laws of Florida at the direction of Executive Order #74-23.  PC Professor is proud to be an approved training provider for this scholarship grant.

The Council provides a variety of services to American Indians, Native Alaskans and Native Hawaiians living in both Florida and Georgia.  One of its primary goals is to provide technical assistance for the educational, economic, social and cultural advancement of Native Americans.  The Council also provides employment enhancement and vocational training for the economically disadvantaged, underemployed, or unemployed through a grant from the Department of Labor.  Assistance is designed to meet the needs of each individual and to help each participant achieve economic self-sufficiency, increased self-esteem and enhanced computer career skills.

At PC Professor, our goal is to provide academic services and educational activities which result in each participant realizing his or her full economic and employment potential. We prepare our customers for successful participation in today’s competitive labor market via hands-on computer training classes and do our best to assure that each student receives a high-quality training experience.

This mission, in part, is accomplished by targeting the following goals and objectives:

Since 1989, PC Professor has been thoroughly committed to training students for computer careers that have, historically, provided high wages and job security while maximizing the use of each individual’s interest and aptitudes.  As a Microsoft IT Academy (aka Imagine Academy), student placement is very important to us and we strive to provide current, training-related job leads to any alumni interested in receiving such.
