Microsoft Certified Application Developer Logo

PC Professor is proud to be an authorized testing facility for Certiport and PearsonVUE Testing which, collectively, administer career certification tests on behalf of Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Apple, Dell, Google, HP, Linux Professional Institute (LPI), Sun Microsystems, Ubuntu, Symantec, Nortel, NEC, Juniper Networks, Hitachi, Oracle, EC-Council (CEH), Adobe, IBM, Intuit, Autodesk, Citrix, D-Link, TSA, and Verizon (*Participant list subject to change). PC Professor offers large blocks of general test center availability, but the actual testing registration is handled independently by each respective testing company and is typically done on a first come, first served basis through the PearsonVUE or Certiport website. All certification scheduling and test voucher redemptions are exclusively handled by the testing agencies.  Please see your School Admissions Representative for the exact procedures required for each of the various national certification exams.

The following are some general guidelines that will apply to most of the exams administered by our computer training school:

Please be cognizant of the fact that most testing vouchers expire one year from the date of issue.  Some may be expire sooner.  This is something over which our school has no control and we will typically not be able to extend a testing voucher’s expiration date.

You should arrive at PC Professor’s check-in desk at least 30 minutes before your test is scheduled to begin.  It will take a few minutes to check in, to process the necessary identification and to finalize the registration.  Also, you may want to familiarize yourself with the restrooms, the vending area and/or the testing room itself.  Our staff understands that testing can be stressful and your comfort is of paramount concern.

For IT exams, you typically must have two valid forms of ID, one with a photo and both with signature.

For Academic or Professional Licensure & Certification exams, you typically must have one valid government-issued ID bearing photo & signature. If the ID does not have either the photo or signature, a secondary ID must be presented that does. Acceptable forms of photo identification include:

  • Driver’s license
  • Passport
  • Military identification
  • Employee identification card

Acceptable forms of non-photo identification include:

  • Credit card
  • Check cashing card

Please note: Credit cards and check cashing cards are not acceptable secondary ID for GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, PRAXIS, and NBPTS.

It is the test taker’s responsibility to review the often stringent identification requirements for the exam you are taking before making your appointment. Please refer to your exam sponsor registration information for their exact ID requirements.

Because the only items allowed into the testing area are identification documents, we encourage test takers to leave cell phones, purses, books, study material and/or personal items at home or in their locked car or trunk. All personal items will need to be checked in for temporary storage at the front desk.

Food and drinks are not permitted in the computer testing room. Also, some of the exams that we administer do not provide for breaks. Exams that do not offer break time typically will allow you to leave the testing area to get a drink, go to the restroom or to take medication, however, the amount of time designated for that exam may not stop when you step away from the testing computer.

Make sure to get a good night’s sleep the night before and to eat a good breakfast and/or nutritious lunch the day of the test.

We at PC Professor wish you the best of luck on your certification examination and look forward to adding you to our list of nationally certified alumni.
